Game on!

I so want this....I think I just fell in love with an Xbox 360....and it's not like I need another one...but this 360 must have been made with me in mind! ;)

This Transformers-inspired console sees a 250GB slim Xbox 360 placed inside the shell of a remote-controlled Bumblebee Camaro. You turn on this custom machine by pressing the gas cap. Once you switch it on, you will find the disc tray is concealed within the front grill of the car--to open it you just have to hit the Chevy logo. The rear window of the Camaro is fitted with an 8-inch LCD screen, and below that, underneath the rear bumper, is access to the HDMI and USB ports.

By the way, did I mention that it drives? :)

Check the link below for the full story. So loving it!

Mecum 2012

Mecum Auctions came to Houston, Texas, for the very first time this year, and I was lucky enough to win tickets (thank you WHM president for the win!).  It was also my very first time going to a Mecum Auction.

Lots of amazing cars were up for auction, including some very nice looking Camaros. (Of course I had to mention Camaros, I am Camaro Kitty...what were you expecting? ;) Some of my favorites, aside from the Camaros, were the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Pace Car, the 1931 Cadillac V12 Roadster, and the 1980 Excalibur Phaeton Convertible. I enjoyed looking at many more cars, but I am sure you would rather just view the pictures than read a list of favorites. ;)

Aside from looking at the cars for sale, I also got to sit front row at the auction and watch the bidding. It was a good thing I wasn't registered to bid, or the temptation would have been too great! (No, I didn't bid, this Kitty needs to save up some money!) The seats were awesome though, and there was some fast paced bidding going on all around me!

The top sale was a 2010 Ferrari California Spyder that went for $177,500 and second highest was a 1931 Cadillac V12 Roadster 368 CI, 3-Speed that sold for  $165,000. They both came from the Sterling McCall Old Car Museum Collection.

I thoroughly enjoyed going to the auction, and will definitely be attending again the next time they are in town!

You can build that with LEGOS?!?

Ok, so this hits high on the list of impressive things to build with the wonderful toy of LEGOS.  A guy, a known LEGO master who goes by the internet name of Crowkillers, managed to build a 2009 Chevrolet Camaro using only advanced LEGO Technic pieces. Did I mention that it is real-size?  Because it is. I gotta say, pretty cool to that one! It must have taken several thousand pieces as well as lots of time and effort! Check out the pictures...
